MANTER — Gary Graham, 69, Manter, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at his home in Manter.
He was born Dec. 24, 1944, in Syracuse to Paul and May Cott Graham.
Gary was raised in Manter and attended schools there. He served in the U.S. Army and later was City Manager of Manter and a jailer at the Stanton County Sheriff’s Department.
He married Alberta Bert Dunivan on Dec. 27, 1970. They later divorced. He married Pat Loyd on July 28, 1984. She preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Janice Brickman.
He is survived by two stepsons, Marty Loyd of Amarillo, Texas, and Steve Dunivan of Amarillo, Texas; stepdaughters, Beverly Glasscock of Johnson City, Kim Simmons of Amarillo, Texas, Bobbie Payne of Richfiled, Vickie Schweizer of Johnson City; brother, Kenny Graham of Manter; sisters, Phyllis Batterton of Eads, Colo., Pauline Wilkerson of Manter, Laura Carter of Ulysses; and a granddaughter.
Memorial service is 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Manter. Inurnment follows at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson City. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson City.
