Coulter Croft and Wyatt Slaven scored five touchdowns each to lead the unbeaten South Gray Rebels to a 60-12 rout of Pretty Prairie on Tuesday night in a first-round 8-Man Division I football playoff game at Montezuma.

Croft rushed 30 times for 322 yards while Slaven had 134 yards on 12 attempts in leading the Rebels (9-0) to 467 rushing yards. The Rebels limited the Bulldogs (8-2) to just 112 rushing yards.

The Rebels led 18-6 after the first quarter and were comfortably in front by a 36-6 score at halftime.

Croft's TDs came on runs of 51, 65, 70, 34 and 21 yards while Slaven's came on runs of 5, 40, 2, 36 and 28 yards.

South Gray limited Pretty Prairie to 122 yards passing on 8-of-28 completions while intercepting four Bulldog passes.

The Rebels will play host at 7 p.m. Saturday to Claflin/Central Plains (9-1) in a state quarterfinal contest. Central Plains won its first round game, 50-22, over Quinter.
