The Busters squared off against the Colby All Stars in the Colby Classic in the first game of the season. The Busters started the season on the right foot, beating the All-Stars 91-47.

Josh Fleming led the team with 13 points. Diontae Jones notched his first double-double on the season, notching ten points and eleven rebounds, eight of which were offensive rebounds. Jabar Ray and Gage Loy each scored ten points.

As a team, the Busters outrebounded Colby 72-43. From the field, the Busters shot 35-68 from the field, and 4-9 from three point range. The Busters also shot well from the charity stripe, shooting 17-22.

The Busters wrap up the Colby Classic with a game against KSU-Salina on Oct. 31.
