Several community agencies in Garden City and Holcomb are collaborating for an event called “Stuff the Bus.”
Garden City Public Schools USD 457 will hold an enrollment event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, and from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, for parents to enroll their children for the 2025-26 school year. The event will take place at Horace Good Middle School, 1412 N. Main St.
The Garden City Walk to End Alzheimer’s committee will be holding a fundraising dinner and silent auction from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, July 19. The event will be held at the United Presbyterian Church, located at 1719 Texas St.
The Kansas Department of Transportation is starting a concrete patching and profile grinding project Monday, July 14, along U.S. Highway 50 in Finney County, beginning west of Holcomb then east to the end of the four-lane near Third Street.
