GCHS softball falls at home to Great Bend
When the Garden City High School softball team dropped a 5-0 contest on Tuesday at Great Bend, GCHS head coach Trina Mai believed she could get her team to bounce back two days later in a Western Athletic Conference doubleheader at John Ford Field at Tangeman Sports Complex.

Holcomb girls’ swimming takes third at Hays Invite
HAYS – The Holcomb High School girls’ swimming team came away with a third place team finish Tuesday at Hays during a six-team meet, which featured a majority of the Western Athletic Conference schools.

KSHSAA legislative boards approve several changes
TOPEKA – The state volleyball and basketball formats will look different starting next school year, and the shot clock is officially in the postseason. Those items were approved during the KSHSAA Executive Board and Board of Director Meetings on Thursday.
