On Sept. 23, at approximately 1 a.m., the Garden City Police Department and the Garden City/ Finney County Joint Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop in the 4100 block of E US Highway 50.

Garden City High School Principal Steve Nordby has announced that Anna Lobmeyer has been named a commended student in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, will be presented by the principal to this scholastically talented senior.
