The Holcomb Lady Longhorns ran their softball record to 6-0 Thursday with a doubleheader sweep of Elkhart, 7-6 and 14-2.

Senior Lori Harshbarger, pitched both games and remained unbeaten with all six wins to her credit.

In the opener, Harshbarger also had four hits, Amy Stegman four and Katie Pfeifer three as the Longhorns collected 12 hits. Harshbarger gave up nine hits in the win.

In the second game, the Longhorns jumped into command by scoring twice in both the first and second innings, plating four runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and five more in the sixth to end the game due to the 10-run mercy rule.

Stegman and Christina Burns each had two hits to pace a nine-hit attack. Harshbarger was the recipient of an error-free game by her defense. She gave up just four hits.
