Curtis Ray Houser

JOHNSON CITY — Curtis Ray Houser Jr., 40, of Johnson City, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014 in Johnson City.

He was born March 4, 1974, to Curtis Ray and Barbara Ann Schweizer Houser in Ulysses.

He was a lifetime resident of Stanton County, where he worked for the Stanton County Road and Bridge Department for 17 years.

Survivors include one son, Curtis John “CJ” Houser of Johnson City; one daughter, Elizabeth “Liz” Houser of Turpin, Okla.; his parents of Johnson City; one sister, Michelle Perez of Johnson City; and a grandmother, Geneva Schweizer of Walsh, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl Schweizer, Cy Houser and Marie Houser.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church in Johnson City.

Interment will follow at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson City.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson City.
