At Rolla, the Rolla girls basketball team used a second-half surge to beat visiting South Baca (Colo.), 59-42 on Tuesday.

Down 20-19 at halftime, the Lady Pirates scored 22 in the third and had an 18-8 advantage in the fourth to pull away.

Kori Hall led Rolla with 12 points, while Karly Clinesmith and Kaleigh Barrett scored 11 each. Katie Murray added nine, while Sarah Easterwood had eight, and seven Lady Pirates scored in the game.

Allyson Grahn led all scorers with 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Faith Ormiston added 12.

At Rolla, the Rolla boys basketball team eked out a two-point win over visiting South Baca (Colo.), 48-46 on Tuesday.

The game was close throughout, with neither team holding more than a two-point lead at the end of any quarter.

Kyler Telford led the Pirates with 16 points, while Nick Link added 13.

Brett Wilson led all scorers with 24 points for the Patriots, and Matthew Crane added 12.
