Area girls: Deerfield,Moscow, Ingalls win

Deerfield 40,

Syracuse 22

At Deerfield, the Lady Spartans allowed Syracuse to get within striking distance in the second quarter before pulling away in the second half to have Deerfield easily come out on top over the Lady Bulldogs 40-22 Tuesday night.

Crystal Mata and Dulce Vides both led Deerfield with 10 points each in its blowout despite only leading Syracuse by five at the half.

Delaney Pollart led Syracuse with six points for the Lady Bulldogs.

At Moscow, the Lady Wildcats had no trouble taking care of Keyes as they outscored the Lady Pirates 34-11 in the first half en route to a 51-19 win Tuesday night.

Courtney Clark led Moscow with 11 points while Maria Cecenas also chipped in with 10 points.

Cynde Hitchings and Cassandra Valencia both led Keyes with nine and eight points respectively in an otherwise tough game for the Lady Pirates.

Rolla 21

At Rolla, the Ingalls Lady Bulldogs continued their winning ways as they outscored the Lady Pirates 21-4 for the first half, plus an additional 16-3 run in the third quarter to criuse to a 39-21 victory over Rolla on Tuesday.

Taylor Bleumer led Ingalls with 16 points while teammate Janae Droste added 11 points.

Karly Clinesmith led Rolla with eight points in a tough scoring game for the Lady Pirates.

At Elkhart, the Lady Wildcats scored in double digits in each quarter including 24-point first and fourth quarters en route to a 69-33 blowout win over the Turpin Lady Cardinals Tuesday night.

Kali Hoskinson led all scorers for the Lady Wildcats with 22 points while Lacy Bookstore was also in double figures for Elkhart with 12.

Raegan Alvarez led Turpin with 15 points in the Lady Cardinals' loss.

At Cimarron, the Lady Jays scored in double figures each quarter and pulled away from Sublette to give Cimarron a 55-34 win on Tuesday to move to 14-1 on the season.

Lindsay Wehkamp led Cimarron with 13 points. Fellow Lady Jays Morgan Ediger and Ashtynn Burns also had double figures with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Daryan Whaler and Katelyn Marlin led Sublette with 13 and 12 points respectively in the Lady Larks loss.

Dighton 44, Greeley County 41

At Tribune, the Dighton Lady Hornets used a furious fourth quarter to grab a win in the last few minutes over Greeley County 44-41 on the road Tuesday.

Leslie Speer led Dighton with 14 as the Lady Hornets trailed Greeley County by two points going into the fourth quarter. They outscored the Lady Jackrabbits 13-8 in that quarter, including making 9-of-11 free throws in the period to steal a win away from Greeley County after being locked into a tight game most of the way.

Kelcy Crittenden led Greeley County with 14 points while Monica Veleta had 11.
