South Gray shut out; Rolla wins over Ashland

At Montezuma, the South Gray Rebels ran into a brick wall Friday night as visiting Minneola did shut out the Rebels, whiles scoring often to put on 48-0 pounding of South Gray.
Minneola's Matt McClaren did damage on the ground, as he rushed 16 times for 180 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Wildcats. McClaren also returned a punt for a touchdown. Jason Britt also had a rushing touchdown for Minneola.
Colton Dirks led for South Gray, as he rushed 35 times for 174 yards in an otherwise tough game for the Rebels, who fall to 1-1 in district play and 3-3 for the season.

Rolla 28, Ashland 6
At Ashland, Rolla took a 20-0 lead at halftime and held off Ashland in the second half, as the Pirates won 28-6 over the Bluejays on the road Friday.
Kyler Telford led Rolla in scoring with two touchdown runs in the second quarter. Telford also threw a TD to Dakota Hull late in the first quarter for the first points of the game. Jordan Schwindt had the other touchdown for Rolla on a short run late in the third quarter.
Jorge Saravia had the only score for Ashland on a 15-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Rolla improves to 1-1 in district play and 4-2 overall.

Hodgeman County 66, Satanta 0
At Jetmore, the Satanta Indians had little going for them as Hodgeman County shut down Satanta early for a 66-0 blowout in a game which was called at halftime.
Satanta's Cody Meadows had the only bright spot for the Indians, as he rushed 12 times for 40 yards. Satanta drops to 2-4 overall and 0-2 in district play.

Fowler 38, Ingalls 20
At Ingalls, the Bulldogs fell behind early in the first half and were unable to come back in a 38-20 district loss on Friday.
Fowler got ahead as Taylin Bird threw two touchdown passes to Jett Reese in the first half, and also added a scoring run. Tem Shetley did the rest of the work for the Goldbugs, as he had a touchdown run and field goal in the first quarter before scoring the last touchdown run of the game to cap off Fowler's scoring.
Josh Irsik and Brandon Sandoval each had a touchdown run for Ingalls in the game. Jordan Irsik also made a last ditch effort for the Bulldogs in the fourth quarter with a 38-yard interception return for a touchdown.
Ingalls falls to 3-3 this season and 1-1 in district play.

Spearville 82, Deerfield 54
At Spearville, the visiting Spartans and Spearville both put up big numbers, but it was Spearville taking the 82-54 win.
Spearville got big plays from Brandon Davis, who had five touchdown runs, while Nathan Stein was not far behind with four touchdown runs. Matt Kerschen and Seth Stroud had the remaining scores for the Lancers.
Rene Rubio put up big numbers for Deerfield with two touchdown runs in addition to two kick returns for scores in the second quarter. Mike Mata ahad a touchdown pass and a TD run in the game. Alex Mata finished off Deerfield's scoring on defense with an interception return and a fumble return.
