Former Garden City Community College Broncbuster Jeremy Faulk made his NFL debut on Saturday for the New York Jets.

According to GCCC sports information department, Faulk entered the Jets’ preseason game against the Tennessee Titans in the early fourth quarter. He was in the lineup on nine defensive snaps, but did not record an official statistic.

However, Faulk, a defensive lineman, was flagged for an offsides penalty, an issue the 2015 NJCAA Defensive Player of the Year has struggled with before.

Faulk signed with the Jets in early August after a summer tryout, and is one of the few college players to make the jump directly from the junior college level to the NFL. He led the Busters to the 2016 NJCAA championship, racking up 75 tackles and six sacks.

The Jets’ next action comes at 6:30 p.m Saturday at the Detroit Lions.
