Former Garden City Community College defensive lineman Jeremy Faulk has signed with the New York Jets after trying out as an undrafted free agent during the summer.

The Jets website announced the signing on Friday. The terms of the deal were not available.

Faulk, listed now at 6-foot-2, 295 pounds, was the 2015 NJCAA Defensive Player of the Year, and helped lead the Busters to the 2016 NJCAA championship. Playing on both the outside and inside of the line for the Busters at times, Faulk was still able to rack up 75 tackles and six sacks for the Busters in 2016. He also forced two fumbles and recovered another.

In 2015, Faulk had 87 tackles, 7.5 sacks and 18.5 tackles for loss, and was named an All-American.
