Garden City's annual Beef Empire Days are set to begin Wednesday, and this year's celebration will be offering numerous opportunities to get involved.
Sporting events that vary from golf to softball to archery are all scheduled to take place over the 13-day period. One that won't be included this year is the Garden City Family YMCA annual Summer Jam-Fest Basketball Tournament because there were not enough teams registered.
With most registration dates closed by now, it may be too late to get involved in the sporting events but you can always come out and show your support at any one of these events.
For any additional questions or information, contact the Beef Empire Days office at 275-6807 or send an email to beefempiredays@gcnet.com.
