Meade rolls past Lakin in HPL action

At Meade, the Buffaloes dominated the visiting Broncs (0-2) as they took care of Lakin 50-0 in Hi-Plains League action.
Meade (2-0) struck early as Jaden Friesen scored on a 5-yard run just eight seconds into the game.
Kellan Hernandez scored the next three touchdowns for the Buffaloes, two on short runs and one on a pass from Trevin Wiens.
Hernandez added another touchdown late, while Friesen and Chris Hardaway scored the other two.

Austin Nairn was first to put the Trojans on the board with a 18-yard run in the first quarter. Marcus Perez ended the first quarter with a 19-yard touchdown run. Quinn Kindrick scored on a 40-yard run in the second quarter. Fabian Sierra scored the final touchdown of the first half on a 12-yard run.
The Trojans were up 28-0 at halftime. The only score of the second-half was a safety in the fourth quarter.
