Hugoton blasts Cimarron 61-0

In Hugoton, the juggernaut called the Eagles took care of the visiting Cimarron Bluejays, 61-0, in Hi-Plains League action.

The Eagles scored 28 points in the first quarter and 27 in the second as they stayed undefeated on the season.

Caleb Gifford had another monster night as he rushed for 138 yards and four touchdowns. Bubba Beltz scored twice, one of those a 68-yard punt return.

Hugoton is now 5-0 (3-0 in league), while Cimarron drops to 1-4 (0-1).
