Moscow, Ulysses girls pick up wins; Cimarron rolls by Stanton Co.

Moscow 48,

Hardesty, Okla. 31

At Moscow, the Lady Wildcats broke their game against the Hardesty Bison wide open early with a 34-11 first half surge and coasted to a 48-31 win on Friday.

Kelsi Mueller led Moscow with 16 points, with Kendra Haines and Kaitlyn Dobie each adding 10 points for the Lady Wildcats.

Alyssa De La O led Hardesty with 10 points.

Greeley County 19

At Hoxie, the Greeley County girls basketball team ran into trouble on Friday as state-ranked Hoxie had big numbers the first three quarters of the game and left the Lady Jackrabbits reeling with a 89-19 loss.

Kristina Farber led Hoxie with 23 points. A few more Hoxie players were in double figures including Terran Hoyt with 12 points, Lexi Schamberger scoring 11 points, then Carly Heim and Gabi Spresser added 10.

Courtney Glazier led Greeley County with six points as the Lady Jackrabbits trailed 27-4 after the first quarter and 52-11 at halftime.

Larned 36

At Kismet, the Lady Mustangs used steady play to hold off Larned in each quarter and slip past the Lady Indians 46-36 on Friday in nonconference play.

Heights led 19-14 at halftime.

Goodland 49

At Ulysses, the Lady Tigers used big third and fourth quarters to get their first win of the season via a 52-49 victory over Goodland on Friday.

Amanda Langley and Morgan Price both led Ulysses with 13 points each. Carolina Gallegos added 10 points for the Lady Tigers as they trailed 18-11 after the first quarter and 31-21 at halftime before outscoring the Cowgirls 31-18 in the second half.

Maddie Mayer led Goodland with 22 points and Kate-Lynn King added 12 points.

At Rolla, the visiting Fowler Lady Goldbugs scored in double figures in each quarter to cruise to a 43-24 win over Rolla on Friday.

Nikki Friesen led Fowler with 13 points in a balanced scoring effort from the Lady Goldbugs.

Kaleigh Barrett led Rolla with 12 points.

At Cimarron, the Lady Jays had little trouble against Stanton County and were never threatened in their 63-30 blowout win over the Lady Trojans on Friday.

Morgan Ediger led Cimarron with 20 points with Ashtynn Burns close behind with 17 points as the Lady Jays remain undefeated.

Lindsey Erskin and Kristina Gerard led Stanton County with nine points each.
