Hoxie 34, Dighton 18
At Dighton, the Hornets couldn't outlast Hoxie as the game was tied up at 12 all at halftime, but Hoxie would wind up winning the game 34-18. Hoxie got on the board first in the second quarter when Hoxie's Katt hauled in a 60 yard touchdown strike from quarterback Kennedy. Dighton would answer with a 42 yard touchdown pass from Tyler Lingg to senior running back Isaac Alinor. After another touchdown apiece by both teams in the second quarter, it would be all Hoxie until Dighton's Lingg received a 20 yard pass from Alinor in the fourth quarter. Dighton will host Otis-Bison next week to start district play.

Rolla 38, South Gray 6
At Montezuma, a 78-yard kickoff return by Jake Smith helped set the tone for the visiting Rolla Pirates as they stopped South Gray 38-6 on Friday to move to 4-0 on the year.
Kyler Telford would score the next three touchdowns for Rolla with runs of 65, 57, and 55 yards, respectively. Rolla would get two more touchdowns in the third quarter with the help of their special teams, first coming on a fumble recovery by Coleman Kirby in the endzone. The second third quarter touchdown came on a 60-yard Jordan Schwindt punt return all the way back.
A 55-yard touchdown run by Ryan Griebel got South Gray within a touchdown early in the second quarter but could not stop Rolla from pulling away.
Undefeated Rolla will host Fowler next week to start district play, while South Gray will host Satanta to start their district schedule.

Moscow 54, Greeley County 8
At Moscow, a six touchdown performance by Alexis Manriquez, including an interception return helped propel Moscow over Greeley County 54-8 on Friday for the Wildcats first win of the season.
Manriquez's longest runs came on 10-yard sprints in the second and third quarters. Brice Valdez also scored two touchdowns for Moscow, his first off a 66-yard kickoff return early in the first quarter, followed by a 48-yard run late in the third quarter.
A six yard run by Elijah Stone for the game's first touchdown would be Greeley Couny's only score in the game. Manriquez's second 10-yard touchdown run in the third quarter for Moscow ended the game early due to the 45-point mercy rule.

Fowler 48, Deerfield 0
At Deerfield, the visiting Fowler Goldbugs shut down Deerfield for a 48-0 win over the Spartans on Friday.
The Goldbugs scored 34 of their 48 points in the second quarter, including a 33-yard interception off of Deerfield quarterback Mike Mata.
Deerfield was held to 39 passing yards and 21 rushing yards in the game.
