8-man: Moscow tops Satanta, 34-22

At Moscow, the host Wildcats used a big second-half effort to take out Satanta 34-22 on Friday.

Despite trailing by two points at the half, Moscow got help in the third quarter with two touchdowns by Alexis Manriquez first with a seven-yard run then scoring another one on a 48-yard kickoff return.

Brice Valdez had the other second-half touchdown for Moscow as he scored on a 53-yard interception return late in the fourth quarter to put the game away.

Abraham Miramontes ran for all of Satanta's touchdowns with one each in the first three quarters of the game.

Ingalls 62, Spearville 42

At Ingalls, the Bulldogs got a huge performance from quarterback Zeke Cox as they defeated Spearville 62-42.

Cox threw for 337 yards and six touchdowns, rushed for another, and returned both an interception and a fumble recovery for scores.

LaMontae Heady caught five of those touchdown throws, finishing the game with seven receptions for 192 yards.

The Bulldogs amassed 390 yards of total offense, while Spearville had 312 yards rushing and 147 passing.

Dighton 54, Greeley County 6

At Tribune, the visiting Hornets took care of business against the Greeley County Jackrabbits as they scored 54 points in the first half en route to a 54-6 win that ended at halftime Friday night due to the 45-point mercy rule. Dighton moves to 1-1 while Greeley County falls to 0-2.
