What a waste.

While driving down Fourth Street recently, I discovered what crews have been working on by St. Catherine Hospital. Someone has come up with the idea that building curbs out into the road is a good idea.

One of the things this city has going for it is nice wide roadways. There is a lot of truck traffic in this area delivering to the hospital. When there is more than one truck delivering at a time, one of them usually has to wait in the road for access to the delivery dock … what is this going to do for traffic flow?

Not only is this a problem, it is just a matter of time before these trucks start running them over and breaking them down, then who pays for them to be repaired?

Out of all the projects that could be done to improve the drivability of our roads in this city, I would say this one doesn't even make the list.

What a stupid waste of money.
