Dianna 'Dee' Ray

Dianna “Dee” Ray, 74, of Garden City, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at the Legacy in Ulysses.
She was born Aug. 22, 1938, in Rolla, to James Graves and Wilma Faye Watson Hubbard. She graduated from Rolla High School in 1956.
She worked as a secretary in various businesses in Garden City and also gave oil painting lessons for 20 years from her home. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garden City and she enjoyed playing the piano for church services.
On Jan. 22, 1961, she married Jack Villines in Goodwell, Okla. In 1975, she married Gary Ray in Garden City.
Survivors include three children, Daryl Dee Villines and Ryan Lee Ray, both of Garden City, and Tammy Ray of Chantilly, Va.; a brother, Jerold Hubbard of Johnson City; and a sister, Patricia Trahern of Johnson City. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private family service will take place at a later date.
