Teresa Nguyen, 81, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital.

Teresa Nguyen, 81, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital.

Nguyen was born Jan. 1, 1932, in Dong Thap, Vietnam, to Bien Van Nguyen and Thuong Thi Ngo. She was a homemaker.

She married Phuoc Hong Nguyen in 1951 in Vietnam. He survives.

Other survivors include four sons, the Rev. Frances Khoi Nguyen of Hugoton, Len Van Nguyen and Tieng Thanh Nguyen, both of Garden City, and Phuc Hong Nguyen of Sarasota, Fla.; three daughters, Hien Thi Nguyen of Sarasota, Thuc Thi Nguyen of Vietnam, and Mai Chi Thi of Wichita; Nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Vigil and Rosary services are at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Garden City.

Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Dominic. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Garden City.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City.

Memorials are suggested to the Diocesan Seminarian Fund, in care of the funeral home.
