MANTER — Scott Terrill, 75, of Manter, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson City.

MANTER — Scott Terrill, 75, of Manter, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson City.

He was born Aug. 30, 1937, in Mojave, Calif., to Frank and Alta Carson Terrill.

A Manter resident since 1973, Mr. Terrill was a farmer for 30 years, working for Ramsey Farms and John Smith. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home; a son, Jon Terrill of Manter; four daughters, Jenice Poff of Aloha, Ore., Rejeana Barth of Longwood, Fla., Debbie Brown of Independence, and Dawn Saner of Mifflintown, Pa.; two brothers, David Terrill of Rogue River, Ore., and Terry Terrill of California; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings.

Family will greet friends at 2 p.m. Saturday at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Johnson City.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, in care of the funeral home, Box 715, Johnson City, KS 67855.
