GARNETT — Steven B. Doering, 62, Garnett, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at St. Luke's Plaza Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

He was born Feb. 1, 1951, in Salina, to Henry H. and Berniece Doering.

He was a lawyer.

Mr. Doering married Karen Frey on May 25, 1974, in Hinsdale, Ill. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Hank and Greg Doering, both of Manhattan; a brother, Michael Doering of Garden City; and four grandchildren.

Services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Garnett.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Feuerborn Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to Garnett Public Library or the Garnett Masonic Lodge.
