Annabelle Bare


TRIBUNE — Annabelle Foley Bare, 98, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Greeley County Long Term Care in Tribune.

She was born Nov. 26, 1914, in Tribune, to Thomas and Molly Jones Foley.

A lifetime resident of Greeley County, Mrs. Bare was a homemaker and farm wife.

On June 12, 1930, she married Carl C. Bare in Leoti. He died Oct. 26, 1995. She also was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters including Gertrude, Mahlon, Leonard, Ollie, Fred, George, Tom, Laura, Mike and Clifford; her parents; a daughter, Lois Rowe; and a son, David "Cub" Bare.

Survivors include four children, Mary Ann Fischer of Parker, Colo., Opal Bare of Tribune, Betty J. Bougsty of Westminster, Colo., and Carl "Teddy" Bare Jr. of Aurora, Colo.; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Tribune.

There will be no visitation. Condolences may be sent at Memorials are suggested to Greeley County Library or Greeley County Long Term Care, both in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune.
