Anna 'Ann' Williams


SCOTT CITY — Anna Jean "Ann" Williams, 75, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood.

She was born Sept. 28, 1937, in Lane County, to Orval and Minnie Hurst Pinkston.

A resident of Ellinwood since October 2011, formerly of Scott County, Mrs. Williams was a homemaker.

On Jan. 3, 1956, she married Kenneth Jean Williams in Garden City. He died Sept. 13, 1992, in Lane County. She also was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include a son, Gary Williams of Scott City; four daughters, Carol Sieker of Chase, Dixie Payne of Bixby, Okla., Vicky Teague of Arlington, Texas, and Sondra Williams of Greenwood Village, Colo.; a sister, Pat Anderson of Julesburg, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Scott City. Burial will be at Scott County Cemetery, Scott City.

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Price & Sons Funeral Home, Scott City, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be given at or Memorials are suggested to Gospel Fellowship Church or The Gideons, both in care of the funeral home, 401 S.
