Kenton Doyle Thomas, 65, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, in Fort Worth, Texas, after a short battle with cancer.
He was born Oct. 12, 1953, in Scott City to Kenneth Dale and Norma (Sperling) Thomas.
Kenton grew up in the Scott City area before the family settled on the family farm in Finney County in 1972. He attended school at Scott City and later at Holcomb, where he graduated from high school. He was employed as a clinical liaison for Encompass Health.
Survivors include a daughter, Misty Harris of Colorado; a son, Christopher (Amanda) Everett of Scott City; three brothers, Mike (Vicki) Thomas of Green Valley, Ariz., Rick Thomas of Garden City, and Kevin (Lynette) Thomas of Garden City; five grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, Ian Thomas.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
