Herber Rufino Henriquez, 50, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
He was born March 2, 1968, in San Vicente, El Salvador, to Jose Alejandro Pineda and Rita Henriquez.
He grew up in El Salvador, then moved to Los Angeles in 1986. He has been a resident of Garden City since 1999.
He worked for more than 10 years at Tyson Fresh Meats.
He was first married to Ana Chavez. He later married Inocencia Meza.
Survivors include six children, Christian Harby Henriquez, Brenda Elizabeth Henriquez, Daisy Caroline Henriquez, Katie Diana Henriquez, Leslie Henriquez Meza, and Nestor Daniel Henriquez Meza; his father, Jose Alejandro Pineda; four silblings, Jose Antonio Henriquez, Alfonzo Henriquez, Elena Henriquez and Victor Henriquez; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Monday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. A private family interment will take place at a later date in El Salvador.
