Bryan David Pettijohn, 62, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

He was born Dec. 20, 1955, in the United Kingdom to Jerry and Mildred Marie (Burgardt-McCaslin) Pettijohn.

He moved to Garden City as a teen from Oklahoma and spent the rest of his life in Garden City. He was a truck driver and mechanic. He enjoyed drawing, building model cars, fishing, fast cars and family.

He is survived by a sister, Cynthia Moody of Garden City; a brother, Rex Pettijohn of Covington, Tenn.; a niece, Jeri Benson of Menlo; a nephew, Michael Moody; great-nieces, Brittany Wanless of Menlo and Michelle Garcia of Garden City; a great-great-niece, Yareli Neri of Garden City; a great-great-nephew, Darryl Fenner of Menlo; and dear friend, Lyn Wanless of Garden City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Richard Moody, Jr.

There will be no services held at this time. Memorials are suggested to the Bryan Pettijohn Memorial Fund, in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N. Seventh St., Garden City, KS 67846.
