HUGOTON — Sarah Etta Reynolds died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at Pioneer Manor.

She was born Aug. 14, 1920, in Stevens County, to Wesley and Zepha Frazee Lowry.

She married Vincent Medcalf. In 1968, she married Donald Reynolds. They preceded her in death as did her parents; three brothers, John, Arden and Elden Lowry; two sisters, Naomi Simmons and Louise George; and a great-great-grandchild.

A lifelong Stevens County resident, Mrs. Reynolds served as county clerk from 1961 until retiring in December 1988.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Scott of Hugoton, and Jody Schnaufer of Lubbock, Texas; a son, LeRoy Medcalf Jr. of Princeton, Ind.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Church of God, Hugoton.
