ULYSSES — Marjorie L. Pister, 65, of Ulysses, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Hays Medical Center in Hays.
She was born April 23, 1953, in Harvey, N.D., to Theodore and Genevieve Muscha Otto.
On March 16, 1972, she married Roger Pister. In 1981, they moved to Ulysses, where she had worked at numerous jobs.
Survivors include two sons, Rodger Pister of Garden City, and Darrick Pister of Vista, Calif.; two daughters, Elizabeth Andazola of Syracuse, and Angela Orosco of Ulysses; five sisters, Sharon Tafelmyer of Sawyer, N.D., Mary Martwick of Garden City, Judith Grenz of Dothan, Ala., Lorraine O’Shea of East Grand Forks, Minn., and Susan Otto of Devils Lake, N.D.; and seven grandchildren. Her husband died in 2001.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Otto.
A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Ulysses.
