Loren Dale Mueller, 77, of Palmer, died Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Washington County Hospital in Washington.

He was born June 19, 1940, in Clay Center, to Herman and Lydia Hiesterman Mueller. He graduated from Linn Rural High School in 1958. 

Mr. Mueller retired from the Washington County Sanitation Department. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include a brother, Lowell (Dorothy) Mueller of Garden City; a nephew, Michael (Stephanie) Mueller, Elsa and Greta of Tulsa, Okla.; nieces, Nancy (Brian) Foreman, Rachel, Chris, Alex and Bryce of Holcomb, Teresa Moore, Levi and Brooke of Springdale, Ark.; and close friend, Ruth Jones and family, Alan Jones of Clay Center and daughter, Kelsey (Dalton) Belzer and Wyatt of Hays, Brad (Lori) Jones, Evan and Emily of Washington, Deanna (James) Rahe of Greenleaf, Kristin (Craig Duskie) Rahe and Kort, Esbon, Clayton (Shelby) Rahe, Jax and Ames of Greenleaf, Kaylie Rahe of Greenleaf and fiancé Cody Meyer of Linn, Kylie Rahe of Greenleaf, Deb (Chris) Hansen, Maggie and Brigham of Greenleaf, and Clint (Dani) Jones, Alli, Cora and Faye of Waterville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral was Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in rural Palmer. Burial was at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, with military honors conducted.

A memorial fund has been established in care of the funeral home, 408 Fourth St., Linn, KS 66953.
