Judy Kay Cox, 68, of South Hutchiinson, earned her heavenly wings June 8, 2018, at Mennonite Friendship Community in South Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of Richard and Ada Fern Hogg. She was born in Lyons, Kansas on May 29, 1950. She was a retired hydraulics specialist.

Judy Kay Cox, 68, of South Hutchiinson, earned her heavenly wings June 8, 2018, at Mennonite Friendship Community in South Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of Richard and Ada Fern Hogg. She was born in Lyons, Kansas on May 29, 1950. She was a retired hydraulics specialist.
She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church, she was a marathon enthusiast having run in 22 marathons and 65 half marathons. Her favorite marathon was the annual Chicago Marathon. She collected bells of all sizes; enjoyed taking care of people's houses, but, her main goal was loving and taking care of her family.
On September 8, 1990, she married Henry Cox in Hutchinson, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors, include one daughter, Tanya Cox of Hutchinson, Kansas; three brothers, Terry Hogg of Wichita, Kansas, Jerry Hogg of Lyons, Kansas, Mickey Hogg of Lyons, Kansas; two grandchildren, Taniyah Cox and Drake Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Richard and Bobby Hogg.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 15, 2018, at 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1028 E. 16th, Hutchinson, Kansas. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Reno County and left in care of the funeral home.
