SCOTT CITY — Loretta Marie Gorman, 88, died Monday, May 28, 2018, at Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.
She was born Jan. 17, 1930, in Hale, Colo., to Fred and Marie Tuttle Proehl.
A resident of Scott City since 1958, Mrs. Gorman was a homemaker.
On July 18, 1948, she married Earl Gorman in Kanarado. He died Sept. 12, 2014, in Scott City. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Raymond Proehl; a stepbrother, Carl Proehl; and two stepsisters, Velma Beechley and Velda Koehn.
Survivors include a son, Orville Gorman of Augusta; a daughter, Barbara Brobst of Scott City; a brother, Marvin Proehl of Medford, Ore.; a sister, Norma Wright of Medford; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church in Scott City. Burial will be at Scott County Cemetery in Scott City.
Visitation hours are 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
