Marjorie Ann Abrigo, 64, died Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Homestead Health and Rehabilitation Center in Garden City. 

She was born Aug. 30, 1953, in Garden City, to Wesley W. and Barbara Joanne Fulton Werner. She graduated from Ingalls High School.

On Aug. 4, 1979, she married Tomas Ricardo Abrigo Jr., in Garden City. He died Jan. 28, 2013. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Werner.

Mrs. Abrigo taught in Goodland and Lakin before moving in 1987 to Garden City, where she was a longtime special education teacher at Garden City High School. 

Survivors include a son, Aaron Tomas Abrigo of Casper, Wyo.; a daughter, Amber N. and Delmer E. Towns II of Garden City; her parents, Wesley and Joanne Werner of Garden City; a brother, David and Wendy Werner of Neosho, Mo.; five grandchildren; and a niece, Kira Mitchell of Neosho.

Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
