SCOTT CITY — Clinton R. Turner, 82, of Scott City, died Monday, May 7, 2018, at Scott County Hospital in Scott City. 

He was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Sterling, to Walter Wyman and Lula Pearl Whittaker Turner. 

A resident of Scott City since 1945, Mr. Turner worked for Brookover Cattle Company for more than 25 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves.

On June 1, 1963, he married Margaret Marie Minor in Leoti. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Jeff Turner of Scott City, and Roger Turner of Woodward, Okla.; a daughter, Kerry Wishon of Collinsville, Texas; a twin brother, Clayton Turner of Hope; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City. Burial will be at Scott County Cemetery, Scott City.

Visitation hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
