ULYSSES — Diane L. Holmes, 76, died Tuesday, April 3, 201,8 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

She was born Sept. 13, 1941, in Bismark, North Dakota, to Rudolph and Anna Belle “Sue” (Hewitt) Morlock.

On April 3, 1992, she married Thurman Holmes in Johnson City.

She was a registered nurse and worked for a care home.

Survivors include a son, Marlin Hogie of Ulysses; three daughters, Karla Shores of Rolla, Krista Everett of Ulysses, RaeLynn Birney of Wichita; five brothers, Gary Morlock of Bismark, Keith Morlock of Lisbon, North Dakota, Ronnie Morlock of Minnesota, Bradley Morlock of Lewiston, Idaho, and Monte Morlock of Rock Springs, Wyoming; a sister, Tammy Neal of Oroville, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Douglas Hogie; and a brother, Roger Morlock.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, Ulysses, and burial will follow at Ulysses Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home.
