INGALLS – Phoebe Norene Bartholomew, 84, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Trinity Manor in Dodge City.
She was born Sept. 19, 1933, in Dodge City, to Vernon and Virginia Wakeman Nolder.
She worked as a house keeper, enjoyed sewing and was a member of Pierceville Federated Church in Pierceville.
Survivors include her daughter, Lenora Herron of Hoisington; a sister, Karen Mercer of Moore, Okla.; her companion, Marty Bartholomew of Ingalls; three grandchildren, Travis Heneha and wife Jamie, Kari Bradley and husband John, and Ryan Heneha and wife Nicole; and 10 great-grandchildren, Trey and Nate Heneha, Jocelynn and Wyatt Pedigo, Cole Gilliland, Eastin, Maddix, Titan, Jax and Nevaeh Heneha.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Archie Thompson; a sister, Joann Benton; and two sons, Roger and Bill Nugent.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Pierceville Federated Church, with Pastor Travis Heneha officiating.
There will be no viewing; cremation has taken place.
