Paul Schneider, 73, died Monday, March 5, 2018, at his home in Garden City.
He was born June 14, 1944, in Garden City, to David and Frances Meekma Schneider. He graduated from Garden City High School.
A lifetime resident of Garden City, he was the owner and operator of Schneider Lawn Service in Garden City. He was a member of the American Legion of Garden City and was involved in Toys For Tots. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and collecting movies.
On Sept. 9, 1970, he married Loretta McFarland in Garden City. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Marsha Schneider and Kathleen Schneider, both of Garden City; a stepson, Norman McFarland of Guthrie, Okla.; two brothers, Larry Schneider of Yuma, Colo., and Rick Schneider of Stillwater, Okla.; two sisters, Linda Reed of Shell Knob, Mo., and Connie Hale of Tyler, Texas; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerome Schneider; and a daughter, Julie Schneider.
Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City with military graveside rites conducted.
