JOHNSON CITY — Dennis Rogers, 61, of Johnson City, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

He was born Aug. 12, 1956, in Sacramento, Calif., to William and Thelma (Lewis) Rogers.

He spent most of his life in California. He received his master's of education. While in California, he taught math and was a high school principal.

He married Char England on March 22, 2003, in West Sacramento, Calif. They moved to Johnson City in 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Char, of the home; a daughter, Amber Deporto of Oregon; his father, William Rogers of West Sacramento; and a brother, Dave Rogers of West Sacramento.

He was preceded in death by his mother and an infant sister.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson City.
