HUGOTON — Dale Irvin Decker, 80, of Hugoton, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.
He was born Sept. 3, 1937, in Satanta, to Adlai and Mary Lucinda Orrell Decker. He graduated from Satanta High School.
On June 10, 1956, he married Carolyn Sue Cann in Satanta.
A resident of Hugoton since October 1956, Mr. Decker and his wife owned and operated the Showplace Theater and Video in Hugoton for many years until retiring.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Sue Decker of Hugoton; two sons, Arlan Decker of Hugoton, and Alan Decker of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Lisa Di Gerolamo of Mesa, Ariz.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gene “Buddy” Decker of Albuquerque, N.M., and Lloyd Decker of Satanta.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marion and Alva Decker; and four sisters, Betty Hale, Lena Mae Davis, Mary Lou Alexander and Ruth Dale.
Funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Church of God, Hugoton. Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery.
