Keisha M. Wright, 27, of Kearney, Neb., died Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident west of Kearney on Highway 30. Her husband, Ryley G. Wright, 30, also died in the accident.
She was born Aug. 3, 1990, in Garden City, to Karen Brungardt. She graduated from Elwood (Neb.) High School in 2009.
On Oct. 31, 2015, she married Ryley Wright in Kearney. They moved to Kearney in November 2017.
Mrs. Wright worked at Shell Gas Station and Homestead Assisted Living. She also had recently opened a home daycare.
Survivors include her parents, Karen and Randy Reinertson of Elwood; four sisters, Amanda Perez of Holdrege, Neb., and Laurie Thomas, Kayla Ruiz and Hanna Reinertson, all of Lexington, Neb.; and her grandparents, Tom and Betty Brungardt of Garden City, Shirley Thompson of Johnson Lake, Neb., and Dennis Thompson of Clarks, S.D.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Anna Long, and Adam and Anna Brungardt.
Funeral will take place Monday at First Baptist Church, followed by burial at Kearney Cemetery.
