JOHNSON CITY — Ronald Kay Kendrick, 83, of Johnson City, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, Colo.

He was born Sept. 20, 1934, in Wichita, to Elmer “Roundie” and Arlyn Bender Kendrick.

Mr. Kendrick was a lifelong farmer. 

On June 23, 1957, he married Barbara Houf in Colorado Springs, Colo. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, Mark Kendrick of Colby, and Gary and Bret Kendrick, both of Johnson City; two daughters, Julie Brincks of Melcher, Iowa, and Lyn Finnegan of Parker; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church in Johnson City. Burial will follow at Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson City.

Visitation hours are 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson City.
