ELKHART — James Harold Boaldin, 86, of Elkhart, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at Morton County Senior Living Memory Care Unit in Elkhart.
He was born April 23, 1931, on the family farmstead near Wilburton, to James T. and Martha Boaldin. He graduated from Elkhart High School in 1949.
Mr. Boaldin retired from Anadarko Production Co. in 1986. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
On Jan. 6, 1953, he married Willena Stewart. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Sheryl Wagner of Garden City, Janet DeWeese of Clearwater, and Joan McMillan of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a son, Kent Boaldin of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Boaldin of Prescott, Ariz.; and a sister, Joyce Carson of Pampa, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Vern Moore; two brothers, Johnny and Bobby; and a sister, Karen Sparkman.
Funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Elkhart.
Visitation hours are 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m., at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.
