Andres Aldama-Marquez, 61, of Garden City, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. 

He was born Feb. 24, 1956, in LaPiedad, Michoacan, Mexico, to Luis and Eloisa Marquez Aldama. He graduated from high school in LaPiedad.

On Feb. 12, 1990, he married Martha Maria Sanchez in LaPiedad.

A Garden City resident since 1988, he worked for Tyson in the rendering department. 

Survivors include his wife, Martha Aldama of the home; three children, Carmen Rocio of LaPiedad, and Arturo Morales-Sanchez and Ana Belen Aldama-Sanchez, both of Garden City; three brothers, Jose Luis Aldama of Morelia, Mexico, Edwardo Aldama of California, and Francisco Aldama of Phoenix; five sisters, Lupe Aldama of Pennsylvania, Lourdes Aldama and Graciela Aldama, both of California, Patricia Aldama of LaPiedad, and Luz Ellena Aldama of Phoenix; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ester Aldama and Theresa Aldama.

Funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Burial will be in LaPiedad.

Visitation hours are noon to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Monday.
