Paul A. Witsken, 83, of Dodge City, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2018.

He was born June 16, 1934, in Dodge City, to Joe and Leona Habiger Witsken. He attended Dodge City Senior High School. 

Mr. Witsken had worked at Foley Tractor and Caterpillar Equipment Co. for 41 years. He served in the Army Reserves.

Survivors include his wife Margaret Weis, whom he married on May 26, 1962; three daughters, Renee Davison of Wichita, Denise Miller of Satanta, and Janna Strecker of Garden City; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Anthony Joseph; his parents; a sister, Marilyn Kirmer; and a brother, Richard.

Vigil service will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will follow at Greencrest Memorial Gardens, Dodge City. 

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City. Condolences may be posted at Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Prairie or the Cancer Center of Kansas, both in care of the funeral chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, KS 67801.
