Philip Wayne Bertholf, 68, of Dodge City, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Via Christi-St. Francis, Wichita.
He was born July 16, 1949, in Garden City, to Wayne and Wanda Stukey Bertholf. He was a graduate of Garden City High School.
On Aug. 24, 1968, he married Noralee Tresner in Garden City.
A Dodge City resident since 1969, Mr. Bertholf was a truck driver for several local trucking companies and businesses.
Survivors include his wife; four children, Tim of San Antonio, Texas, Yvette Ediger of Newton, and Todd and Anthony, both of Dodge City; two brothers, Larry Bertholf of Omaha, Neb., and Neil Bertholf of Arvada, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Keith Bertholf.
Vigil service will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 901 Central Ave., Dodge City. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.
Visitation hours are noon to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel. The casket will remain closed.
