SCOTT CITY — Cloide Boyd, 87, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City. 

He was born Nov. 24, 1930, in Barton County, to Ellis and Thalma McDonald Boyd. He attended Montezuma schools.

On May 19, 1956, he married Corrine Omo Bogerd in Raton, N.M.

Mr. Boyd was the farm manager for Warner Ranch for several years until his retirement.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Sharon Strecker of Wichita, and Darla Jean Craner of Levittown, Pa.; six stepgrandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepgranddaughter.

Graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Cimarron Cemetery.

Visitation hours are noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Swaim Funeral Chapel of Cimarron.
