Christopher L. Willard, 33, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, in Colorado Springs. 

He was born Nov. 7, 1984, in Kingman, Ariz., to Tracy and Jimmy Willard. 

On Aug. 4, 2001, he married Kristin Coupland. 

Mr. Willard worked most of his professional life in culinary arts, cooking in various kitchens in Tribune and Colorado Springs. He also worked in construction. He was a talented musician and an avid fisherman, was known for his warm conversation, eclectic hats and culinary skills. He enjoyed writing, reading and the arts and was a devout Christian. 

In addition to his wife, survivors include his parents; three children, Ethan, Riley and Noah; two brothers, Josh Harvey of Woodland Park, Colo., and James Harvey of Palm Bay, Fla.; and two sisters, Atlantis Asher of South Bend, Ind., and Nora Charles of Boulder, Colo. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maurice and Mildred “Sarah” Foster, Irene Bennett and Walter Kitchen Willard; and his great-grandmother, Violet Holdren. 

Funeral will begin at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Rocky Mountain Calvary Church, 4285 N. Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs.
