Corrine Dean, 92, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.

She was born Aug. 12, 1925, in Ottawa, to Noah Robert and Lucy Ann Naff Blackwell.

She was a resident of Scott City since 1949, moving from Leoti, she was a cashier at Ideal Grocery Store for more than 25 years.

On Nov. 27, 1951, she married Harry L. Dean in Raton, N.M. He died Jan. 4, 2007, in Scott City.

She is survived by two daughters, Jalene Thorley of Broomfield, Colo., and Dianna Howard of Scott City; a sister, Gladys Wieland of Horsehead, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, five brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
